Portfolio of Prints
This portfolio of twelve prints was created in conjunction with Wharton Esherick and the Birth of the American Modern exhibition at the University of Pennsylvania. The prints were selected because of their relevance to the exhibition. The prints were re-struck from Esherick’s original blocks by the Common Press. The prints are on 12.5” x 16.5” okawara white deckle-edge paper. The collection includes some rare prints as well as some of Esherick’s most popular images. The set comes with a title page, curator’s checklist and a colophon.
The prints are available in a hand-made paper wrap for $1750 or in a hand-made clamshell box covered in plum-colored silk with a black silk lining for $2000.
